“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.”
While listening to Chelsea’s interview, I saw this image of a gardener on her hands and knees. Her gloved fingers digging through the dirt, uprooting the weeds and quietly pruning; using her keen gaze to ensure the growth of each of her plants. She takes it all in and assesses. She is working towards not only the beauty of right now, but establishing the health of a thriving, bountiful garden in the future. This is Chelsea – sensitive and responsive to the details of her faith now so that she is ready and strong for the mountainous journey the Lord has planned ahead.
Chelsea has an affinity for images that carry a message and as she began to reiterate her story she described the last four years of her life she equated it to her desert season. The Lord was using images associated with the desert to show her His faithfulness and help her begin to interpret His plan for her life. She is passionate about young women finding friends because she understands their necessity. Chelsea is just beginning to venture out into life and the Lord has equipped her with gentleness, innovation, and kindness. Her desire to know Him better will result in more amazing stories and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store.
